There are five Caribbean countries offering Citizenship by Investment programmes, namely Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis and St Lucia. antigua & barbuda

Investment criteria for Citizenship

Under the citizenship program, there are following investment options:

  • $100,000 to the National Development Fund or an approved charity. This amount extends to a family of up to four people, which increases to $125,000 for a family of five or more.;

  • $150,000 University Fund;

  • $400,000 investment in real estate, this can be reduced to $200,000 with an investment partner and the total investment is still $400,00; and

  • $1,500,000 to establish a business.

Additional fees will apply for dependents.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are at proposal stage for Antigua & Barbuda citizenship by investment program. This proposal is still in the pipeline yet to be implemented by the Government.

The passport is granted for 5 year validity period after that it can be renewed. To renew after 5 years, you must have visited Antigua & Barbuda for a 5 day period.

dominica

Investment criteria for Citizenship

Under the citizenship program, there are following investment options:

  • $100,000 donation to National Development fund (NDF) or $200,000 for a family of four; and

  • $200,000 Real Estate;

Additional fees will apply for processing and for each dependent added to the main applicant.

The passport is granted for 10 years and thereafter it can be renewed. There is no requirement to visit the island and Dominica does not report your new citizenship status to other countries.

Investment criteria for Citizenship

Under the citizenship program, there are following investment options:

  • $150,000 donation to National Development fund (NDF) or $200,000 for a family of up to four members; and

  • $350,000 Real Estate Investment.

  • Access to E2 visa treaty with the US

Additional fees will apply for processing and for each dependent added to the main applicant.

Grenada citizenship allows you to apply for the E-2 visa for the United States of America. The E-2 visa is an investment visa which allows you and your family to live and work in the US. Additionally the Grenada passport will give you visa free access to China.

The passport is granted for 5 year validity period after that it can be renewed. You many renew after 5 years, and there is no requirement to visit Grenada.

St kitts & nevis

Investment criteria for Citizenship

Under the citizenship program, there are following investment options:

  • $150,000 donation to Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF) for a family of four;

  • $400,000 Real Estate Investment; and

  • $200,000 Real Estate Invested when the property is not sold for 7 years.

    Additional fees will apply for processing and for each dependent added to the main applicant.

    St Kitts & Nevis is the oldest Citizenship by Investment programme which started in 1984 after achieving independence in September 1983.

    The passport is granted for 10 year validity period after that it can be renewed. You many renew after 5 years, and there is no requirement to visit St Kitts & Nevis.

Saint Lucia

Investment criteria for Citizenship

Under the citizenship program, there are following investment options:

  • $100,000 donation to National Economic Fund (NEF) or or $190,000 for a family of four;

  • $300,000 Real Estate Investment into hotels, resorts and boutique property;

  • $250,000 Government Bonds with a 5 year holding*; and

  • $1,000,000 Direct Business Investment into enterprise projects.

Additional fees will apply for processing and for each dependent added to the main applicant.

For COVID-19 the Saint Lucian Government has reduced the Government Bond option from $500,000 to $250,000 including family members up to 4 people. After that they will start to include additional fees.

The passport is granted for 5 year validity period after that it can be renewed. You are able to renew after 5 years and you do not need to visit the island of Saint Lucia.
